Acer announced the new Veriton Z280G-EA271CP all-in-one PC. The PC comes  with an 18.5-in LCD monitor and measures just 19×15×2.14-in and features an Intel Atom N270 1.60GHz ultra-low-voltage (ULV) processor, 2GB of  Memory,  an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, a Multi-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader, 160GB HDD, CD/DVD burning drive, a built-in 802.11b/g wireless connection.

gScreen’s so called Dual-Display Spacebooks is working on models that house two 13, 15.4, 16, or 17-inch LED-backlit LCD displays. The laptop’s secondary display can be slipped out when needed, and tucked away when not. The Spacebook will include an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processors, 4GB of DDR2 and NVIDIA’s GF900M GT or Quadro FX 1700M graphics, 320GB 7200RPM HDD and  VGA/HDMI-out. gScreen is reportedly trying to keep it below $3,000. Femtocells aren’t exactly embedded into the public vocabulary yet, but the carriers are ramping up to make a pretty decent push for it.  So far we’ve seen a handful of models from some of the bigger operator names, but now a Scottish firm, HSL, are promising a single femtocell that can support users on different networks.

The HSL 2.75G Femtocell seems, going by the picture above, to be in the render stage of final design, but according to the company’s press release they’re already in talks with European, Asian and other regions’ carriers.  Read the rest of this entry »

The Chinese company Sunno introduces us its S880 Mobile Phone dual-booting between Windows Mobile and Android. Each OS sharing the handset’s capacious 3.6-inch WVGA display.

Sunno S880 Features an 806MHZ processor, a 3.6-inch WVGA display, 256 or 128MB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, GPS navigation and WiFi. The Sunno S880 is said to be released on October 15.

We have talked about Nokia N900 many times. Nokia N900 is said to be the the first Nokia mobile phone to run Linux derived Maemo.

It is supposed that Nokia N900 will have 32GB (upgradable upto 48GB) storage with a microSD card, 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, an ARM Cortex-A8 processor and QWERTY keyboard. According to Nokia the mobile phone will be shipped in October and will cost €500. Read the rest of this entry »
