Nokia N8-00 12MP Smartphone Review

Here we have a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen smartphone with its full spec sheet. So far I haven’t known any other smartphone supporting a 12-megapixel camera (with Carl Zeiss optics) supporting 20x digital zoom. Nokia N8-00 runs on Symbian ^3 OS and is packed with a 680MHz processor, 256MB of RAM, has up to 32GB of capacity (140 MB internal).

The device also has a front-facing video camera, proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor which is used for adjusting backlighting. Nokia N8-00 also includes a Xenon flash, HDMI output and LAN IEEE802.11 b/g, USB 2.0, micro USB interface to PC, 2mm DC jack, integrated GPS, 3D Entry Accelerometer and for radio lovers a Stereo FM Radio support.

USB Drive Shows Data in Lights

You can easily view used and free capacity on your flash drives. So, this concept, called USB Memory Stick #6, is a USB drive that will tell us what’s on the memory stick well before we put it into our computer.

The USB drive is made of glass and the whole idea revolves around colored lights that are housed inside the body of the drive. As you put items on your USB stick, the lights would activate to tell you what’s on the drive: the more you put on your drive, the more the lights would populate through the glass body.

Recently HTC introduced the world’s first 4G phone which will likely enter the market in summer.

The HTC EVO 4G will support streaming voice calls and data with blazing speeds. So let’s compare: 600Kbps (HTC 3G) vs 6Mbps (HTC 4G). Can you imagine the difference?

Besides 4G technology feature HTC Evo is also unique for its 8MP (instead of a 5MP) camera and HTC’s capacitive multi-touch with Sense UI.

HTC EVO 4G goes to the next generation with the Android OS, but just imagine a phone with Android and a 4G technology.

ViewSonic VEB 620 and VEB 625 e-Book outed

2 New ViewSonic e-Book models rolled out: VEB 620 and VEB 625. 2 new ViewSonic e-Books are thin (less than 11mm thin), light and versatile devices weighting less than 0.26kg which allows you to hold comfortably in the palm of your hand.

Both models  have a 6″ epaper screen, SD card slot, 2GB storage and the option of memory card expansion, SD card slot and an accelerometer, a 3.5mm headset jack, a mini USB 2.0 port and a rechargeable battery supporting up to 8,000 page-turns on the VEB 620 and 6,200 page-turns on the VEB 625. Besides, the VEB 625 also has Wifi and a touchscreen functionality which can give access to even more storage of huge number of books .

Both models support different file formats such as HTML (html, htm), XML (epub, fb2), .rtf, .pdf, .txt and .mp3.

There are rumors that the VEB 625 may have a 3G support too.

The price of VEB 620 is approximately £175 ($269) and for the VEB 625 model with WiFi support sellers ask £205 ($315).

HTC HD mini Rolled out

Today we want to introduce you a new product named “HTC HD mini”. HTC HD mini (also known as HTC Photon) seems to be the scaled down version of the HTC HD2 with a 3.2-inch HVGA display.

Running WinMo 6.5.3 (Windows Mobile) the new HTC HD mini is packed with a 600MHz processor, 3.2-inch HVGA display, 256MB of RAM, 16GB of external memory, 5 megapixels camera, MicroUSB v2.0 port, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, Wi-Fi (WLAN). The HTC HD mini is now available in black only.

JVC Everio GZ-HM1 1080p Camcorder Revealed

JVC Everio GZ-HM1 1080p digital camcorder is now for sale. The camcorder can record Full HD video together with outputting 1080/60p through its HDMI connector. The HM1 uses a 1/2.3-inch 10.62 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor,  supports up to 10-megapixel stills, and is paired with optical image stabilization and a Konica Minolta HD lens.

JVC Everio GZ-HM1 1080p is packed with 64GB of internal memory storage which allows the user to record videos up to 6hrs, an SD/SDHC card slot and ISO up to 6400 is supported. Apple iPad Review

By now you have probably heard of Apple’s latest gadget called the iPad. In the simplest of terms, the iPad is a cross between Apple’s  iPhone  and Mac computer. The new iPad allows users to browse the web, email, photos and video in one simple touch on a big screen. Leaf Aptus-II 10R Digital Camera Review

Leaf has expanded its Aptus-II line releasing a high-end digital camera which targets at the professional photographers. The device, Leaf Aptus-II 10R, integrates a 56-megapixel sensor measuring 56×36 mm which allows the owner to capture the full width of medium-format areas in either landscape or portrait orientation.

Using Leaf Aptus-II 10R digital camera you can capture images with sizes up to 345MB as 16-bit TIFF files. ISO settings range from 80 to 800 and compatibility with the Hasselblad  V series except the 200 and 2000 versions, while the components support capture of the camera rates of up to 1FPS.

Acer Aspire One D260 Android Netbook Review

Here I would like to introduce Acer’s new 10.1-inch Aspire One D260 netbook which has dual-boot capability with Android and Windows, likely XP. An update to the Aspire One D250. At the same time, Acer revealed a netbook running on Chrome OS is also due in the summer of this year.

The netbook is powered by an Intel Atom CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 160GB of HDD. Aspire One D260 features a 0.3-megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a card reader and include 3G broadband support.
