Samsung NX11The brand new Samsung NX11 has been announced at this year’s CES and looks to update the NX10 with both i-Function lens compatability and a new design.

Rather than an overhaul of the original NX10, the new NX11 offers improvements including compatibility with Samsung’s i-Function lenses providing an additional function button on the lens for quick adjustment of the most prominent options such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO and so forth.

Design-wise, the NX11 is similar in form to the Samsung NX10, albeit with a change in grip design to make shooting easier and more comfortable. Elsewhere there’s a brand new Panorama mode that can capture a panoramic image in real time by moving the camera. Read the rest of this entry »

Samsung Galaxy Apollo I5801The Apollo has an LCD screen of 240X400 resolution instead of AMOLED display and runs Android 2.1.

Snaps from the 3 megapixel camera are average for a phone but the lack of a flash dooms low-light shot.

Video can only be captured at 320X240, which is barely good enough for posting to YouTube.

Battery life is good, although it’s highly dependent on your use of WiFi, 3G data and GPS. Apollo I5801 supports up to 7.2 hours of talk-time.

Samsung Nexus S is the New Google Phone

Samsung Nexus SThe successor to the much popular Google Nexus One seems to have finally arrived, although not officially. The phone, which will be called as the Google Nexus S has been recently revealed by the CEO of Google at a recent meet. Even though he has failed to reveal any details about this phone, it has already been speculated that it could be the most powerful phone yet.

The Google Nexus S apart from being tagged as one of the most powerful phones, it also has another huge ace up its sleeve as it is the first phone to be sporting the latest version of the popular Android operating system. This phone will be running on the Android 2.3 or Gingerbread operating system. Unlike most of the other Android phones, this phone will not be using the traditional user interface method that is used to show the Android operating system. Samsung SMX-C20UN Digital Camcorder Reviews

Samsung has released a new SMX-C20UN digital camcorder featuring angled lens, which as on a handful of earlier cameras is tilted 25 degrees off the horizontal axis with the camera’s own body.

The camcorder still and moving images onto SDHC memory cards as it has no internal storage of its own. SMX-C20UN records in the H.264 video format and uses a 1/6-inch, 680K CCD sensor along with a 10X optical zoom lens. Users frame or review their videos and images using the 2.7-inch flip-out LCD. Samsung’s First Netbook With LTE 4G

The South Korean gadget giant, Samsung has announced the unveiling of its 4G netbook using Long Term Evolution (LTE).

The company announced that it would launch LTE capable versions of the recently introduced Samsung N150, N210, and N220 netbooks. All three models sport 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel displays and 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processors.

The Samsung N150 (LTE 4G),which will launch in some days, is powered by a 1.66GHz Pine Trail-era Atom processor, up to a 250GB HDD, a 1GB of RAM and supports 8.5-hours of battery life.

Samsung’s Transparent OLED laptop is now available

Samsung Electronics reveals its first laptop featuring clear active matrix OLED display. Such laptops which  sport Samsung’s clear AMOLED allow the user to work and see objects placed behind the screen at the same time. The laptop’s display has a transparency that can go as high as 40%. Of course, the technology is still in the beginning stages but it is interesting to see if and how the screen will be capable of “switching off” the transparency, as end-users may not always want to see directly through it when playing media, reading documents or even playing games. Samsung NB30 Netbook Review

The Samsung NB30 semi-rugged netbook is now available in the US market. This 10.1-inch netbook comes jam packed with a spill-resistant keyboard and a fingerprint-resistant lid that protects it from minor scratches. The netbook also features a hard drive protection system, that shuts down the hard disk in the event of a fall to help prevent data loss. The Samsung NB30 provides a 1024×600 pixel display with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, a 1GB of RAM, an integrated GMA 3150 graphics, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Edition. Its 6 Cell 4400mAh Lithium Ion battery will last for up to 6.5 hours. The Samsung NB30 semi-rugged netbook retails for $369.99 plus $4.99 for shipping.

Samsung CL80 and TL240 Digital Cameras Review

Samsung does not disappoint yet again with a slew of new product announcements this CES, and among them are the CL80 and TL240 digital cameras. Both of them feature 14.2-megapixels of shooting goodness, and are armed with a wide range of features without looking out of place. While the CL80 comes with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity alongside a 3.7′ WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, the TL240 will have a smaller 3.5′ touchscreen. You will find that both cameras are able to fit into your pockets pretty nicely, measuring just 0.77′ thin. While we do not have pricing details on both digital cameras, we do know that the Samsung CL80 will be released in spring, while the TL240 has a more definite February roll out date.

Details on Samsung’s new Intel Pine Trail Atom-powered netbook have been leaked. The Samsung N150 netbook will come equipped with the new Intel Atom N450. This information comes from two online retailers and the FCC, which has been good for gadget reveals lately.

This is just the latest Pine Trail news this week. Since Intel officially revealed the Pine Trail line on Monday, information on Pine Trail offerings from Dell, MSI, HP and Fujitsu have been made public. Samsung’s Pine Trail entry will come with the N450 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD, Windows 7, and a 10″ screen, which is pretty par for the course as far as netbooks go.
